Welcome to Halfland — an agriculture community and marketplace. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them.

1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Halfland and be old enough to do so in your country. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account.

2. Your account

Keep your login details private and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content

Halfland has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content or behaviour that breaks these rules is removed, and the accounts responsible are suspended or permanently ejected.

  • Don’t post unlawful, misleading, hateful, or harmful content.
  • Don’t post content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, or that harasses, bullies, or defames any person or group.
  • Don’t spam, scrape, or disrupt the service or other members.
  • Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your produce, land, or role.
  • Respect other members and their content.

4. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

Halfland publishes content created by its members, so every post, comment, listing, and profile can be reported from inside the app (the Report option on the item), and any member can be blocked (the Block option on their profile or their content). Blocking a member hides all of their content from you immediately and notifies our moderation team.

We review every report, and we act on objectionable content within 24 hours of it being reported — removing the content and ejecting the user who provided it where the report is founded. If you believe content requires urgent attention, email [email protected].

5. Marketplace and listings

Halfland is a platform that connects buyers, sellers, and landholders. Listings and messages are created by members, not by Halfland. We are not a party to any transaction and don’t guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of anything listed. Do your own due diligence before buying, selling, renting, or leasing. Agree terms directly with the other party.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Halfland a limited licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the app so the service can function (for example, showing your listing in search or your post in the feed). You’re responsible for the content you publish and confirm you have the right to share it.

7. Termination

You can stop using Halfland and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts or content that break these Terms or harm the community.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Halfland is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for losses arising from member transactions, third-party content, or interruptions to the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We’ll revise the date above when we do; continued use means you accept the current version.
