You can delete your Halfland account and everything associated with it at any time. You can also delete what you have published while keeping your account — pick whichever you need below.
Option 1 — Delete your account and all data
Permanent and irreversible. We delete:
- Your profile — name, role, email, phone, bio, location, avatar and password.
- Everything you posted — posts, photos and videos, comments, and marketplace and space listings.
- Your messages, including voice messages and attachments.
- Your activity — likes, saves, favourites, follows, community and team memberships, session registrations, searches and notifications.
- All sign-in sessions, so every device is signed out.
Option 2 — Delete your data, keep your account
Everything in the list above is deleted except your profile and sign-in, so you can keep using Halfland with a clean slate.
What happens to groups you own
If you own a team or community that other members belong to, we do not delete it — that would erase other people’s data along with yours. Ownership passes to its longest-standing remaining member. A group with no other members is deleted with your account. Sessions you host are cancelled and their registrations removed. Articles you wrote stay available as reference material, but your name is removed from them.
How to request deletion
Use the buttons below while signed in — the deletion runs immediately and you will see exactly what was removed. You can also do this in the app under Settings → Delete account.
Checking your sign-in status…
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request by reply and complete it within 30 days.
Timing and what we keep
- Immediately — your data is removed from Halfland and stops being visible to anyone.
- Within 30 days — copies are cleared from encrypted backups as they rotate out.
- What we retain — only records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction records needed for tax or fraud-prevention obligations. These are kept for the period the law requires and are not used for anything else.
